Hi I'm Jayda but my nickname is "moose x3" (pronounced as 'moose', the x3 is silent), I'm 24 and I like moose, Animal Crossing and I guess I'm an artist, wannabe games designer and writer as well as a social media influencer and an activist for the asexual community too.
My old university tutors told me to make an account for this site so I can put all my uni work on here like it's a portfolio, that probably explains why I studied BA (Hons) Games Design and a former student/part of the alumni squad from CCCU. As someone who used to never have an interest in becoming a games designer when I first started the course but instead had high intentions of becoming an artist and a writer since my journey to study at CCCU was an interesting one, Games Design became a blessing in disguise as I managed still use artistic and writing skills in various differents ways whether they were old or new. And my goal right now is still to be an artist and a writer overall. I've luckily managed to achieve one of my goals to be a social media influencer and somehow without knowing a well-known activist representing asexuality, but now this is my time to properly show off my skills as a games designer.
I studied MA Creative Writing shortly after graduating Games Design and… yeah, I regret it - it wasn’t as creative let alone fun as Games Design. It made realise how much I was the black sheep (literally …) in my course. Novel writing is my favourite type of writing but to that degree, games writing wasn’t considered as creative writing to my course - booooo. Oh well, at least I got that degree too lmao.
I haven’t made a game since Games Design however, I am in the process of mocking up a script to a Into The Moonlight inspired cozy simulator game.
On here for now as it is my niche, I mostly focus on game ideas for visual novels on Renp'y!
