Poor Jayda, it was like she was reliving the music video to her favourite song but instead of a boy with stag antlers, ends up falling in love with a girl who appreciated them & then almost getting shot by her dad who also turned out to be half human, half stag – it was a girl who had moose antlers, ended up falling for a guy who doesn’t like her back, finding out he is also her enemy & wants to put moose in peril.

Thinking nothing of it, she just came into class to attend a lecture like as per usual then suddenly ZAP! A magical spell struck upon her by her edgy former classmate who thought it would be funny to bring in his sword into class, show it off to his friends with his cockiness & “pretended” to cast a spell on her which was to turn her into her favourite animal - a moose. Fortunately, instead of the spell turning her into a moose, it caused Jayda to have moose antlers going through her head & weirdly enough, a moose whisper - she is now the superhero, ‘moose x3’! Sadly for her goth classmate, his magical sword costed him his education, as well as his friends officially taking him as joke; he did not like that one bit. After realising that his sword is magic & getting kicked out of university, he suddenly had a huge amount of hatred against moose x3 more than ever so he became a villain, changed his name to ‘3x esoom’ & enjoys spending his time putting moose in danger - but not on moose x3’s watch!

But how did 'moose x3' start out though??

So for several months, I was trying to wrack (or rack, I'm not sure how its spelt, not really sure if that's the term I'm supposed to use but alright) my brain - trying to come up with some ideas for a "non-existent" game that was for a previous university assignment. Not only it was hard because one of my eye went totally blind due to a blown up cataract but my mind went completely blank and when I mean I went blank, I mean I WENT BLANK. It was at a standstill. Absolutely horrid, wouldn't recommend it. It was even more annoying because I couldn't do much of my assignment and work in general during class. Although, the idea of turning myself half human/quarter moose as well as a superhero and an oc did become a success at the end; not only a lot of my friends in my course loved the idea, I also managed to pass the assignment with flying colours because of her. But who and why she called is "moose x3"? Why is she so utterly different compared to a lot of other superheros/oc's? And why doesn't she have a grudge against her enemy?

Well first of all, I'll answer the first question:

Moose are my favourite animal. Not exactly sure why and I have had a few conspiracy theories about why I love these big Canadian mammals but long story short, it goes back to when I was 13 and I got bored during morning registration at secondary school. I made a funny little poem which made utterly no sense but somewhat makes sense to me now:

"Mooseyy McMoose Mackintosh with chocolate mousse on the side,

And the moose is eating the mousse because he's a moose,

And the moose is putting hair mousse on top of his head because he's a moose."

Simple yet poetic, such beautiful words.

And the poem kind of just stopped from there because I couldn't think of more things to add to it. But eventually, I was so fascinated with this cute little rhyme, it kind of helped me venture out to discover what my real personality is about - by screaming out "moose!" in a cute high-pitched voice to greet my friends in school. Even though, it annoyed the majority of my friends, it kind of helped me gain my confidence in a weird way and somewhat made the poem evolved and when I mean it evolved, I mean by it just shorter and shorter until eventually it just became "moose" and then by the time I became 16 (and just gotten out of my emo phase, hahaha what?) I gave it some pizzazz by adding an ‘x3’ face because it looked cute. So from there, moose x3 was born and so did my love for moose.

Also to answer the second question:

The reason why I created moose x3 is because she is basically the superhero I would’ve love to be when I was younger. My favourite TV show was Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and back then my favourite ranger was Kimberly, the pink one as she was a inspiration in my life such as being a dancer and a gymnast. Even though she is still my favourite, I re-watched the entire series years later realising that Zack the black ranger is now my favourite as we had a lot of similar interests such as dancing, teaching others new skills and... being black, as well as having the same personality traits.

And to answer the last question… Why doesn’t she hate the villain?:

Well, poor ol’ moose x3 generally likes 3x esoom. He wasn’t a bad guy to begin with at all. Just like everyone else in her class at university, they just don’t understand her whether it’s a good way or a bad way… and sometimes both. moose x3’s personality is very bubbly, quirky, upbeat as well as crazy and people can misunderstand and question her with a “why she is like that?” I mean, she’s only human but with moose antlers whereas 3x esoom on the otherhand, he is just your typical goth boy – moody, broody yet mysterious. Even though he doesn’t understand her weirdness, in reality deep in his heart he does like her but doesn’t know how to communicate or at least not sure how to start a normal conversation with a simple “Hi, how are you?” So in other words; he doesn’t want to show off the soft side of him and you what boys are like when they try to impress a girl – they either play hard to get, come across as mean or they show off their mad skills and unfortunately, 3x esoom has done all three of them and that unfortunately puts moose x3 on the spot; does he like her or is he just being a typical boy who thinks he’s cool because he owns a magic sword and can fly?

In order of the characters, we have:

  • moose x3
  • 3x esoom (he kinda cute tho)

Then there's the apples moose x3 will have to collect throughout her journey.

And then there's one of the scenery settings - The 'Extremely Scary Yet Not Surprised' forest.
